TURKCAST 2012 – “5 Foundry Products Trade Fair” will
provide a successful display of casting products. The trade
exhibition is designed to give exhibitors the opportunity to meet

Despite the economic recession experienced
all over the world, Turkey still ranked as the
10th largest crude steel producer in the world
and the 2nd largest in Europe with a production of
29.1 million tonnes. The Turkish iron - steel sector is
growing rapidly, firmly making Turkey one of the largest producers
of crude steel in the world. Undergoing investments shows that;
Turkey's crude steel production capacity is expected to reach 55
million tonnes in 2015 from 42.7 million tonnes of 2010.
Turkey's iron - steel producers, whose products are used in every
corner of the world, have become one of the world's major
metallurgy product suppliers with their growing capacity and
increasing competitive power.
Taking into consideration the demand in the sector, for the
first time this year a seperate area will be allocated to the ironsteel producers and steel service centers.

Global kriz sonrası, 2010 yılında 29.1 milyon tonluk çelik üretimiyle
Türkiye dünyanın önde gelen üretim merkezlerinden biri oldu.
