ISE 100 Index dropped 1% to 44.846 with a TL1.2 bn volume.
Volatility increased and the highest level of the day was 45.395 while
lowest was 44.529.
The support level at 43.700 seems strong but if the sentiment
worsens we may see acceleration in sales.
Turkish lira gained 0.04% against euro+dollar basket.
Turkish benchmark note ended the day at 9.41% , with a 0.01 pps
increase.
DOMESTIC NEWS
Turkey’s government is considering setting up a new state -run bank to
finance real estate development projects, Sabah newspaper reported. Industrial production dropped by 9.2% in July.
