Danone is the main sponsor of a conference for mothers with the theme, "First 1000 Days
Summit" held in Istanbul on April 2016. The Danone Nutricia Medical Director was on the
Advisory Board of the conference and no doubt made sure there were ample opportunities to showcase
Nutricia products. This is apparent from the fact that conference topics include the importance of infant
and toddler nutrition and contained reference to Aptamil's formula products. There were also exhibits
of Aptamil outside the conference hall.

portrays as the product as number "1" on a
shield that is the logo of the entire Aptamil
range.
This slide shown in a presentation projects Aptamil
2 as intrumental in providing "one step forward on the
development path".
In his presentation, this speaker from Nutricia explains that when choosing an infant formula, its closeness to
breastmilk matters. Referring no doubt to products in the Aptamil range even though no brand name appear on his
slides, the speaker misleadingly went on to say that all infant formula products are safe with no antibiotics, no patogens,
no hormones added and no preservatives.
