ALES sonuç belgesi. Adaya ait sonuç belgesi üzerinde sonuç belgesi kontrol kodunun olması gerekmektedir.
Yabancı dil sonuç belgesi (Doktora programları için). Adaya ait YDS, KPDS ve ÜDS sonuç belgesi üzerinde
sonuç belgesi kontrol kodunun olması gerekmektedir. Yabancı dil belgesi olarak TOEFL belgesi ile başvuruda
bulunacak adayların, TOEFL belgesinin Enstitü tarafından kontrolünün yapılması gerekmektedir. Sınavı yapan
Educational Testing Services (ETS) kurumu talep olduğunda orijinal belgeyi ilgili üniversitelere göndermektedir.
Bunun için kişilerin bu kurumdan talepte bulunmaları gerekmektedir. Bu nedenle, adayların orijinal belgesinin Enstitü
Müdürlüğüne gönderilebilmesi için ilanda belirtilen başvuru süresi bitmeden ETS kurumundan talepte bulunmaları
gerekmektedir. ETS’den talepte bulunurken adayların kullanmaları gereken Mersin Üniversitesi Kurum Kodu
8778’dir.
Diploma veya mezuniyet belgesi (Aslı ve onaylı fotokopisi). Yurt dışındaki bir yükseköğretim kurumundan
alınmış diplomanın, YÖK tarafından onaylanmış denklik belgesi aranır. Belgenin fotokopisi ilgili Enstitümüz
tarafından aslı görüldükten sonra onay işlemi yapılacaktır.

Üniversitedeki veya diğer bir yükseköğretim kurumundaki bir lisansüstü programda en az bir yarıyılını başarı ile
tamamlamış öğrenciler, lisansüstü programlara yatay geçiş yoluyla kabul edilebilirler. Yatay geçiş için başvuran
adayın öğrenci belgesi, not dökümü ve başarı ile tamamladığı derslerin ders içeriklerini ihtiva eden onaylı belgeleri
başvuru tarihleri arasında dilekçe ile ilgili Enstitüye teslim etmeleri gerekmektedir.
Kayıt yaptırmak üzere duyurulan adayların, kayıt için belirlenen günde gelmedikleri taktirde kayıt yaptırma ile ilgili
herhangi bir mazeretleri kabul edilmeyecektir.
Başvuru belgeleri geri verilmemektedir.

Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Exam (ALES) Score or GRE exam score document. There must
be a control code on the printed document from the webpage of ALES ÖSYM.
Foreign Language Exam score or TOEFL exam score document (Required for the PhD students). There must be
a control code on the printed document from the webpage of ÖSYM. For International Students the original copy of the
exam result is required.
Diploma or certificate of graduation (Original and photocopy). Diplomas from foreign countries must be approved
with a certificate of equivalence by the Council of Higher Education, YÖK. The original documents will be checked by
the related Institute or School and the photocopies of the documents will be approved.
Transcript (Original and photocopy). Master program applicants must submit Bachelor’s Degree transcript; PhD
program applicants must submit both Bachelor’s and Master Degree transcripts. The original documents will be checked

International students are required to hold a Bachelor’s Diploma or Master Diploma with a thesis accepted by the Council
of Higher Education (YÖK); Applicants for PhD Proficiency and Proficiency in Art programs must obtain a minimum score
of 55 on the KPDS/ÜDS/YDS in a language except for their native languages (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish,
Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Persian) or an equivalent score on an exam accepted by the Interuniversity
Council.
Applicants for master or PhD programs having a diploma from foreign countries must submit the Turkish language
proficiency exam score (B2) certified by Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center (TÖMER) in Mersin
University or the other universities. Otherwise students must start their education with Turkish preparatory class.

If candidates do not register between announced dates, their acceptance will be canceled.
Application documents will not be given back.
The documents of ALES, foreign language and transcript will be controlled by the School during the enrollment. If any
problem is detected, application of the candidate will be canceled.
TOEFL score of the candidates must be controlled by the School. ETS (Educational Testing Services) holding the exam
will send the original document of score to universities if it is demanded from ETS by candidates. For this reason
candidates must demand it from ETS before the application deadline, hence the original documents of candidates will
be sent to the School. Candidates must use the Institution code 8778 while demanding them from ETS.
Applicants must submit transcripts in 100 point grading scale. If not, graduation score of the applicants will be converted
to 100 point grading scale with reference to Turkish Council of Higher Education, YÖK.
Departments may require Scientific Preparatory Program for applicants who have diploma from a different
discipline/program. For further information and specific requirements please check the web page of concerned
department.
