arası çocukları 2014 yılında Çek Cumhuriyeti'nde 42’incisi gerçekleşecek olan Uluslararası
Çocuk Güzel Sanatlar Sergisi’ne katılmaya davet ettiği belirtilmektedir.
2014 yılı için serginin konusu “Aile Çiftliği ya da Bahçemiz ve Tarlamız” olarak
belirlenmiştir. Ekte iletilen broşürden ve http://www.mdvv-lidice.cz/en/current/invitation/
adresinden sergiye ilişkin detaylı bilgiye ulaşılabilmektedir.
Gönderilecek çalışmaların posta masrafları Bakanlığımız ya da ev sahibi kurum
tarafından karşılanmayacak olup katılımcıların listesinin 28 Şubat 2013 tarihine kadar
EK-2’de gönderilen forma işlenerek broşürde belirtilen [email protected],
adresine gönderilmesi gerekmektedir.

in the 42nd International Children’s
Exhibition of Fine Art Lidice 2014

Dear teachers, dear children
Please accept our Invitation to participate in the 42nd International Children’s Exhibition of Fine
Arts Lidice 2014, which was established in 1967 to commemorate the child victims from the
Czech village of Lidice, who had been murdered by German Nazis, as well as other children who
had died in wars. Although national initially, this exhibition became an international one in 1973
and since then it has become well known among children and teachers not only in the Czech
Republic but literally all over the world. Thanks to good co-operation with the Embassies of the
Czech Republic abroad we have had over 25,000 entries from upwards of 60 countries of all
continents in recent years.
Hoping you will find an inspiration in this year’s theme, we are looking forward to your entries.

THEME:
As 2014 has been declared by the United Nations the International Year of Family Farming, the
Czech Commission for UNESCO has suggested dedicating the 42nd edition of the exhibition to
the theme:
FAMILY FARMING, or OUR GARDEN AND FIELD
The plants grown in the fields by my family, my grandma and
grandpa, my neighbours
What we get from our field, orchard, vegetable or herb garden,
what we grow and why
What I can grow myself (may it be only in a flower pot)
What farmers do and what is the life of farmers like (also in
contrast to city life)
What machines help in the garden, in the farm?
Domestic animals, their dwelling, what they are fed with, how
they are kept and what they bring us and how they help us in
turn

projects as well as series of entries that need to be Installed
together are ineligible for the exhibition.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:
•
The exhibition is open only to children at age of 4 to 16.
•
The maximum format of a 2D entry is 70 x 50 cm.
•
The maximum format of a 3D entry is 120 x 120 cm, max. weight 10 kg.
•
A maximum of two entries of the same technique (painting, drawing, photography, ceramics,
mixed media) by one artist is accepted; however, one artist can send In entries of different
techniques.
•
Only photos on good-quality paper are acceptable.
•
The entries employing colours that can be dusted or wiped off or that could dirty other entries
when dealt with together must be fixated (pastel etc.).
•
Only original copies are acceptable. Copies, Xerox copies or electronic copies will not be
eligible for assessment.
•
Only such entries will be eligible for assessment that stick to the theme set for the edition.
Larger entries, mounted entries and entries lacking a proper label will be excluded.
We ask teachers to make a pre-selection of entries to be sent in to the
exhibition in order to create as good a school collection as possible.
The organizer reserves the right to use the received entries for other non-commercial exhibitions
and charitable events and to reproduce them in print. The entries will not be given back.
LABELLING THE ENTRIES:
1. Every entry must have directly on its reverse side the following information
(Ceramics etc. must have their identification data directly on them):
•
Name and surname of the child (please, give it in the following order: (1) name, (2)
surname)
•
Age and sex of the child
•
Full name and address of the school or organization of which the child is a
representative
•
Give the address in the following order: name of the school, street, number, postal
code, town, country. An announcement of an award will be sent to this address. Do not
state private addresses of children.
•
An e-mail address of the organization responsible for correspondence related to the
exhibition. Please, state an e-mail address of the school or organization or other e-mail
address you can be contacted at (art teacher).
2. Descriptions must be LEGIBLE, written IN CAPITALS and IN ROMAN ALPHABET.
3.
For labeling works use form to label works at the end of this document, or downloade it from
the web page.
4. To apply for participation use a form available from the web site (Application form). Filled
Application with list of participants enclose to sent entries and additionaly, mail to
[email protected] as an attachment in the DOC format to an e-mail message by
28 February 2014. The subject of the message as well as the title of the document shall be
the name of the country and the name of the school.

Prizes, catalogues and invitations to participate in the next edition
for foreign child winners are dispatched to Czech embassies, which
ensure the prizes being handed over (by person or by post)
After the main exhibition is finished, smaller exhibitions will be created from the exhibits to tour
other venues in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Postmark date on the consignment must not be later than 28 February 2014.
ATTENTION: Entries much be delivered physically to Lidice by 15 March 2014. Please, make
sure that your postal service is able to deliver the consignment by that date. Please, do not
indicate a higher value of your entries than 10 Eur, as consignment of higher value may be
intercepted at customs and duty and VAT payment required, which is not to be made by the
organizer.
