State of Israel Ministry of Defense Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories 31/7/2014 10:00 AM Daily Report: Civilian Assistance to Gaza Operation “Protective Edge” On July 30th, 131 trucks were scheduled to cross into Gaza; only 65 trucks arrived at Kerem Shalom. Drivers on the Gaza and Israeli side are reluctant to come to the crossing due to Hamas mortar fire and the security situation. Of the trucks that entered: •26 trucks carrying 575 tons of food. •11 trucks carrying 440 tons of agricultural supplies. •4 trucks carrying 47 tons of medicine and medical supplies. •24 trucks carrying 169 tons of humanitarian supplies.
