Projects Research Fellow, Formal Verification on Cloud, supported by Nanyang Technological University, 2013–2016. As a research fellow, I conduct research on the formal modeling and verification of multiagent systems. In this context I develop novel modeling methods for multiagent systems taking into account time, resource, and uncertainty aspects. I formalize properties of such systems using logic formalisms, such as temporal logic. I also develop novel model checking methods for the verification of multiagent systems’ formal properties and implement these methods in PAT framework. I also supervise graduate students and actively participate in grant applications. Research Assistant, MANGO: MultiAgent Environment for Global Optimization, supported by Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, 2008–2011. As a research assistant, I designed and implemented the multiagent optimization framework MANGO, which aims to improve efficiency and quality of optimization using multiagent concepts. I developed MANGO in Java language using JMS API. Beside the implementation of the core components of the framework, I also led the development of agents that employ multiagent optimization strategies. Research Assistant, Process-Based Matchmaking of Web Services, supported by Bogazici University Research Fund, 2007–2009. As a research assistant, I developed novel service discovery methods that analyze process models of web services using model checking and semantic reasoning to improve accuracy of the discovery.
