Henry Ford was born in 1863. He was from Michigan, the USA. He started to work on a farm but he
never enjoyed farming. So, he left the farm after his mother's death. Henry was very interested in
machines and he became an engineer when he was 28. Two years later he was the chief engineer
at Edison Company. The first car he made was a "Quadricycle". He drove it for two years and
everybody was curious about this car. When he was 40 years old, he opened the Ford Motor
Company. In that factory, the first model of cars was "Model T Ford". Then he produced cars for
workers. Those cars were simple and cheaper. He died in 1947.
