SUPERLATIVE FORM OF ADJECTIVES (SIFATLARIN EN ÜSTÜNLÜK DERECESİ)
Sıfat tek heceli ise superlative(en üstünlük) şeklinde sıfatın başına The sonuna “-est”
alır. Comparative’de “daha” anlamı varken, superlative’de “en” anlamı vardır.

* . Comparative form iki nesne arasında farkları anlatmak için kullanılır. İki
ve daha fazla heceli sıfatların comparative halini oluşturmak için sıfatın başına more getirilir.
Örnek:
London is more exciting than Ankara
Londra, Ankara’dan daha heyecanlıdır.
Superlative form ise üç veya daha fazla şey hakkında konuşurken “en” uzun, “en”
kısa gibi ifadelerle bir tanesini ayırmak için kullanılır. İki ve daha fazla heceli sıfatların
superlative halini oluşturmak için sıfatın başına the most getirilir.

Type 2 Hayali Şart” olarak ta isimlendirilmektedir. Geçmiş zaman kullanılmasına rağmen
aslında geçmiş zamandan bahsedilmemektedir. Bu nedenle gerçek olmayan geçmiş diye
adlandırılmıştır.
En yaygın kullanım şekli:
