EFO High-voltage current limiting fuse-links are used as a protective devices of distribution lines ,
transformers ,motor circuits and capacitors from thermal and dynamic effects of short circuits and over
currents. Because of they are cheaper , simpler and much more reliable than alternative protecting
systems , they used widely.They commonly form part of fuse-switch combination units,or in some cases
they are used as stand-alone device to provide the sole protection of equipment.They have equal design for
indoor and outdoor applications.
EFO High-voltage current limiting fuse-links have high breaking capacity and back-up type. Back-up type
fuses can break all currents from min. breaking currents (I3) ,to max. breaking currents (I1). Their striker
system serves as an optical indicator and same time actuate a switching device or circuit breaker with
its force.
EFO High-voltage current limiting fuse-links are producing according to IEC 60282-1 with ISO 9001 quality
system.

Two different striker pin forces is avaliable; 80N(standart) , 120N(on request)
Also “ thermal” striker pin is avaible. Inside of the thermal striker pin there is temperature sensitive
element which reacts in case of temperature increasing of the fuse-link due to various reasons.Thermal
striker pin is convenient for the protection of the fuse enclosure of SF6 switchgears which requires
additional protection features againgst inadmissible temperatures of certain switchgear parts.
