I’m graduated from Bogazici University Computer Programming in 2000 and Anadolu University
Business Administration Distance Learning Program in 2007. I worked as a technician, graphics
designer and educator. Just after trying the advertising sector, i decided to become a youth
trainer. Meanwhile i grew up and became 39. I know English very well and I’m a beginner in
Russian. I’m not a member of any NGOs.
Below you’ll see some samples from my experience in the field of non-formal education, NGOs
and youth chronologically:

I worked as a trainer in “Nature and Sea Youth Camp” by Besiktas Municipality and Yaban Academy. Totally 363
teenagers participated the camp in 3 weeks period. Accommodation provided in tents. I gave lectures on radio
communication, knots, scout tracking signs and basic camping experience (Gokcetepe Natural Park, Kesan, Edirne,
29 July – 17 August 2016)

I organised the Istanbul etap of the youth exchange “Evropa2Evraziis” which ASFAR from Uk is the legal
representative. 20 young people from United Kingdom, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey participated. I led
workshops on intercultural learning, conflict resolution, stereotypes and prejudices. We had some field visits to
İstanbul Metropolitan City Youth Council and Incubation Center in Bilgi University (Istanbul, 11 – 17 July 2016)

I participated the training course “Young People for Their Future” by ICM Jindřichův Hradec z.s. We worked on
virtual reality and visual communication tools together with 16 youth workers from different 7 countries (Jindřichův
Hradec, Czechia, 5 – 11 June 2016)

I worked as a trainer in the training course “NFE of The Physically Handicapped in Sport” by Active Youth
Association. We had some field visits with 20 people representing 10 organizations from different countries to see
the participation of the physically handicapped people in sport. Good exercises from participating counties were
presented and the governmental and civil cooperation was observed (Canakkale, 26 April – 3 May 2016)

Youth Exchange “Evropa2Evraziis” by ASFAR was realised with the participation of 20 young people from United
Kingdom, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey. I participated as being the group leader. of Turkey. We worked on history
of countries, Human Rights and European Citizenship (London, United Kingdom, 12 – 19 April 2016)

I participated to TC “Creative Youth Self Entrepreneurs” by Association Art Network. We worked on youth
unemployment in Balkans with 28 youth workers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Albania, Croatia, Bulgaria,
Romania and Turkey (Novi Sad, Serbia, 12 – 20 February 2016)

I worked as a trainer in National Agency “EVS Pre-departure Training (PDT)” which 48 EVS volunteers who will go
to different countries participated (Ankara, 4 – 6 February 2016)

I worked as a trainer in National Agency “EVS On Arrival Training (OAT)” which 48 EVS volunteers from different
countries participated (Istanbul, 26 – 30 January 2016)

I participated in “EVS Trainers' Meeting” by Spanish National Agency. We worked on how to make EVS Training
Cycle better especially between On Arrival Training (OAT) and Midterm Evaluation (MTE) with trainers from different
9 countries (Spain, Malaga, Mollina, 9 – 13 December 2015)

I participated to PBA “Creative Youth Self Entrepreneurs” by Association Art Network. We figured out youth
unemployment reality in Balkans with 25 youth workers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Albania, Croatia,
Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, 30 October – 6 November 2015)

I worked as a trainer/facilitator in “Evaluation meeting of Observers” by Reliable Foods Foundation (Istanbul, 1 – 4
October 2015)

I worked as a trainer in National Agency “Training for EVS Accredited Organisations” where 32 EVS responsible
attended (Ankara, 17 – 19 September 2015)

I participated Ida Mountains Eco Festival (Canakkale, 3 – 7 September 2015)

I worked as a trainer in Contact Making Event “Start Up!” by InterStep. Representing 23 organizations, 46
participants from different countries created 6 projects by using my program and technics. 2 of them already had
been applied to the national agencies the last day (Fjerritslev, Denmark, 22 – 30 April 2015)

I worked as a trainer in the training couse “Europe meets in Erzurum for people with fewer opportunities” by
Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality. 30 people from Spain, Croatia, Poland, Greece, Estonia, Romania and Turkey
participated. We worked on how to make cities more disabled-friendly and accessible (Erzurum, 15 – 20 April 2015)

Together with ASFAR CIC from United Kingdom we organised the bilateral youth exchange “Inspire Europe” in
İstanbul where 10 British and 10 Turkish participants involved. We did workshops on intercultural learning, realised
some study visits to Turkish NGOs. talked about the differences and similarities between two cultures (Istanbul,
Turkey, Advanced Planning Visit 28 – 30 November 2014, Youth Exchange 26 March – 1 April 2015)

I worked as a trainer in National Agency, Disabled Volunteers EVS pre-departure information meeting. The meeting
was on world down syndrome day. People from Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, Education Culture Health Sports
Foundation for Diabled and Antalya Down Syndromed and Disabled Peoples Association participated (Antalya, 21
March 2015)

As being a trainer, I have been in Youth Exchange "Let Me Introduce Myself” by AGUYAD where 40 young people
from Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey participated. We had study visits to Afyonkarahisar Municipality
and AFJET and worked on geotermal energy and youth employment (Afyonkarahisar, Advanced Planning Visit 8 –
10 January, Youth Exchange 16 – 23 February 2015)

I trained 43 young people from Jordan, Latvia, Iceland, Denmark, Belgium, Ukraine and Turkey in the youth
exchange "Don't let technology take over your life!” organised by Young Initiative Association. We worked on how
to escape from technology addiction (Yeni Foca, Izmir, 14 – 22 January 2015)

I participated the training course “ImProve-EmPower” on personal development organised by Association of Nonformal Education “Stowarzyszenie Edukacji Nieformalnej - SEN” where 27 youth leaders from 9 different countries
participated. Equilitri Method was used in the training course. (Olsztynek, Poland, 9 – 17 November 2014)

I guided a group of 52 Turkish people (Barcelona, Spain, 3 – 7 September 2014)

As being the group leader we participated to the youth exchange "Together Forever!” organised by Jelgava Children
and Youth Center “Junda”. Together with 28 young people from Lithuania, Croatia, Latvia and Turkey we had
workshops to understand different cultures by using stories, dances and traditions (Jelgava, Latvia 16 – 25 June
2014)

As being the group leader we participated to the youth exchange "Soul Connection 2” organised by Association
“Democracy in Action”. Together with 40 young people from different 8 countries we created a performance
consisting of dances from different cultures (Kobuleti, Georgia 4 – 12 June 2014)

As being the group leader we participated to the youth exchange "Fight with Sport Against Sedentarism” organised
by Scout Society. Together with 40 young people from Croatia, Romania, Slovenia and Turkey we worked on team
sports like basketball, volleyball as well as we tried ziplining and rappel (Targu Jiu, Romania, Advanced Planning
Visit 23 – 25 May 2014, Youth Exchange 21 – 30 August 2014)

I participated the training course “GATES and KEYS -2013; Motivation” on personal development organised by
International Center for Intercultural Research, Learning and Dialogue (ICIRLD) and National Pool of Trainers where
22 youth leaders from 10 different countries participated (Armenia, Aghveran, 16 – 25 March 2014)

As being the group leader we participated to the youth exchange "Once upon a time in Europe” organised by
Bujrum Proevce Rural Development Center. Together with 60 young people from Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan,
Czech Republic, Italy, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia, Spain, United Kingdom, Macedonia and Turkey we worked on
European Values by storytelling method (Macedonia, Advanced Planning Visit, Kriva Palanka 10 – 12 March, Youth
Exchange, Mavrovo 5 – 15 May 2014)

As being the group leader we participated to the youth exchange "Choose Peace!” organised by Droni. Together
with 30 young people from Ukraine, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Poland, Georgia and Turkey we worked on peace
building and created a flashmob (Kobuleti, Georgia, Advanced Planning Visit 1 – 4 March 2014, Youth Exchange 5 –
12 April 2014)

I participated the training course “Lets Start Speaking Human Rights Language” organised by informal group “Youth
for Youth and Youth without Borders” where 24 youth leaders from 8 different countries participated (Struga,
Macedonia, 20 – 28 February 2014)

Together with 32 young people from different 8 countries I participated the training course “Young Leaders for
Europe” by Azerbaijan Students Union (ASU) (Baku, Azerbaijan, 12 – 20 January 2014)

I attended to an evaluation meeting of “Youth in Action Programme 2007-2013″ organised by Turkish National
Agency. We evaluated the previous “Youth in Action Programme 2007-2013″ and we had information about the new
programme “Erasmus +” as well. Around 130 beneficiaries from all over Turkey participated. (Istanbul, Turkey, 17
– 20 December 2013)

I participated the training course “NGO Resourses” organised by Verein Naturkultur and Sponsorship Network
International (SNI) where 30 NGO representatives from different 11 countries participated (Schwanden-Sigriswil,
Thun, Switzerland, 19 – 25 November 2013)

As being the group leader we participated to youth exchange "Youth for Outdoor Inclusion” organised by Center for
Intecultural Dialogue (CID). Together with 60 young people from different 12 countries we worked on social
inclusion of young people through outdoor (Mavrovo, Macedonia, Advanced Planning Visit 7 – 9 September, Youth
Exchange 5 – 14 November 2013)

I trained 24 young people from Bulgaria, Romania, Greece and Turkey in the youth exchange “I am a Woman, I am
a Human”. We worked on human rights and women’s rights and we prepared a flashmob action at the end of the
exchange (Sanliurfa, Turkey, 18 – 26 October 2013)

I participated the training course “YOUth & Conflict” organised by Association Droni where 30 young people from
different 9 countries participated (Kobuleti, Georgia, 5 – 13 October 2013)

As being the group leader we participated to Youth Exchange “Discovering Natural Treasures” by AJC Demeter. We
worked on natural resourses and natural parks with participants from Romania, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Turkey
(Jerez, Spain, 23 September – 3 October 2013)

As being the group leader we participated to Youth Exchange "Preservation of cultural heritage through old sports
games" organised by Association Baltazar. We prepared a Street photo exhibition and played sports games with
local pupils. 22 teenagers between 15-18 from Latvia, Poland, Croatia and Turkey participated (Fazana, Croatia, 10
– 18 September 2013)

As being the group leader we participated to Youth Exchange “Road to the Stars” with 14 young people organised
by “Association Inside”. 60 people from Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey participated in Balkan Dances
workdhops. The final show took place in Rhodope Drama Theatre (Smolyan, Bulgaria, 20 – 30 August 2013)

I participated international training course “On Moving” together with 20 young people from Egypt, Armenia,
Ukraine, Portugal and Turkey organised by ADP Mertola (Mertola, Portugal, 28 July – 3 August 2013)

As being the group leader we participated the Youth Exchange “Friendship Bowl” by Koceni Municipality Council. 40
young people from Italy, Romania, Latvia and Turkey participated the exchange. We made workshops on living in
rural areas (Koceni, Latvia, Advanced Planning Visit 5 – 7 June, Youth Exchange 30 June – 7 July 2013)

As being Takım Yıldızı Scouting Youth and Sports Club we took part in GAPGENC Organising Committee. Theme was
“Social Responsibility” in the 5th GAPGENC festival in Adiyaman (Adiyaman, Turkey, 10 – 13 May 2013)

I led our scouts in Commemorative 57th Troop March which is a trekking & camping organised every year by
Scouting and Guiding Federation of Turkey(TIF) as a memorial of 1st world war’s fallen. In 2013, 6000 scouts from
different cities participated the event (Gallipoli - Canakkale, 21 – 26 April 2013)

I trained 24 participants from France, Denmark, Poland, Romania, Croatia, Turkey and Norway in “Training for
Trainers in Human Rights Education” by Danish United Nations Association. We worked on new technics in Human
Rights Education using Compass (Fjerritslev, Denmark, 4 – 12 April 2013)

Collaborated with Takım Yıldızı Scouting Youth and Sports Club we organised a study visit to Artvin Province. Visited
Provincial Directorate of Youth Services and Sports, Provincial Directorate of National Education and 3 NGO’s. We
organised 2 seminars in Gazi Secondary School and Artvin Religious High School (Artvin, 27 – 29 March 2013)

I trained 16 Azerbaijani Youth NGO representatives on project management in collaboration with “Sağlam Gençliğe
Doğru İçtimai Birliği” and support of Azerbaijan Youth and Sports Ministry (Baku, Azerbaijan, 10-15 Mart 2013)

I participated the seminar “Campaigning” organised by Change.Org (Istanbul, 6 March 2013)

I managed the winter camp for scouts as being a scout leader of Takım Yıldızı Scouting Youth and Sports Club
(Kocaeli, 4 – 7 February 2013)

I participated 70 hours Practical Entrepreneurship Training Course by KOSGEB (Republic of Turkey Small and
Medium Enterprises Development Organisation) and Association Gelisim Platformu (Development Platform)
(Istanbul, 24 November – 16 December 2012)

I participated international Contact Making Seminar together with 36 NGO representative from different 26
Countries by Macedonia National Agency (Skopje, Macedonia, 11 – 14 December 2012)

I participated International Partnership Building Activity “A New Deal” by TDM 2000 where 25 young people from
different 11 countries participated (Cagliari, Italy, 12 – 18 November 2012)

I trained 20 people for 2 days in “Training of Trainers” organised by Chamber of Food Engineers (CFE) Istanbul
Branch (Istanbul, 3 – 4 November 2012)

I participated the international youth meeting “X-Ways” by “Fundacja Rodowo”. Together with 24 young people
from different 8 countries we worked on outdoor activities for youth work (Rodowo, Sorkwity, Olsztyn, Poland, 2 – 8
September 2012)

I was a volunteer in the 6th Rock-A which is an alternative rock festival organised without any sponsors but with
the effords of volunteers only. (Foca, Izmir, Turkey 3 – 5 August 2012)

I participated the Training of Trainers “TOT4_All – Training course for developing trainers” by INFOKLICK.CH –
Kinder- und Jugendförderung Schweiz. With SALTO trainers for SALTO trainers. (Balmberg, Switzerland, 21 – 29
July 2012)

I co-ordinated Takım Yıldızı Scouting Summer Camp where 40 scouts participated. I’ve been in management of the
whole events (Izmit, Kocaeli, Turkey 5 – 11 July 2012)

Participated in TC “Youth Photo Games” by “Association iNSomnia” with 2 participants. Together with 30
participants from different countries we worked on photography. At the end the international results of our
workshop sessions was exhibited in “Apolo Center” (Novi Sad, Serbia, 1 – 9 June 2012)

I organised a feasibility visit to Simferopol to meet the youth organizations and understand the youth work reality in
Crimea (Akmescit (Simferopol), Bakhchysarai, Crimea, Ukraine, 15 – 21 May 2012)

As being Takım Yıldızı Scouting Youth and Sports Club we took part in GAPGENC Organising Committee. Theme was
“Global Citizenship” in the 4th GAPGENC festival in Siirt (Siirt, Turkey, 4 – 7 May 2012)

Participated in TC “Improve Social and Life Skills of Young People” by “Volunteers Centre Skopje” with 2
participants. We worked on different technics, skills and abilities in youth work. TC was financed by European
Commission where 24 youth leaders from different countries participated (Struga, Macedonia, 10 – 19 April 2012)

As being the group leader we participated the Youth Exchange “Watch Out-Spielberg” by Berliner Jugend Fabrik. 32
young people from Bulgaria, Germany, United Kingdom, Malta, Spain and Turkey participated the exchange. We
made a short movie on Minorities of Berlin (Kreuzberg, Berlin, Almanya, 28 Şubat – 8 Mart 2012)

As being the group leader we participated the Youth Exchange “To Be or Not To Be.. A Volunteer” by Project
Preparation and Implementation Institute. Bulgaria, Romania, Poland and Turkey were the participant countries
(Lozen, Sofia, Bulgaria, 19 – 26 February 2012)

As being a trainer i managed 7 workshops in “Training for Trainers in Human Rights Education” by Danish United
Nations Association and Happy Kids. We worked on new technics in Human Rights Education using Compass with

I worked as a trainer in the action 4.3 seminar “Innovation Union”. (Kirsehir, 5-10 December 2011)

I participated the 3rd Mediterranean Youth Meeting(MeYouMe) where the thema was “Drawing Our Future”. I have
been contributing to build the MANY Network (Mediterranean Autonomous Network for Youth). (Cosenza, Italy, 26
October – 1 November 2011)

As being a trainer i worked in Action 1.3 Democracy Project “Democratic Dreams” by AGUYAD. 28 young people
from Lithuania, Latvia, Romania and Turkey took part in the event (Afyon, 19 – 23 September 2011)

I organised and managed a success and motivation youth camp for a group of chosen high school students
(Kocaeli, 13 – 16 September 2011)

I participated the seminar “Green Gate” by “Infinite Opportunities Association” with 3 Turkish participants. It was
funded by Council of Europe (COE). We discussed sustainable development and environment with 24 participants
(Sinemorets, Burgas, Bulgaria, 29 August – 4 September 2011)

I participated the 22nd World Scout Jamboree where 39800 participants from 160 countries. Jamboree is realised
every four years in different countries. (Kristianstad, Sweden, 1 – 5 August 2011)

As being the Turkish group leader we participated the youth exchange “Catch the Opportunity!” in Estonia by
“Hiiumaa Seiklejad” (part of Seiklejate Vennaskond). With the participants from Spain, Lithuania, France, Estonia,
Romania and Turkey we worked on youth unemployment and volunteerism and created a document including
suggestions on the issue (Hiiumaa, Estonia, Advanced Planning Visit 17 – 19 June, Youth Exchange 7 – 17 July
2011)

I worked as a trainer in the seminar “Youth Unemployment – European Problem or a Problem of the National
State?” by Project Preparation and Implementation Institute. I managed workshops for the participants from
Bulgaria, Romania, Poland and Turkey (Stara Zagora, Bulgaria, 27 May – 2 June 2011)

Participated the 3rd GAPGENÇ Youth Festival. I represented Takım Yıldızı Scouting Youth and Sports Club in NGO’s
Fair. (Gaziantep, 6 – 9 May 2011)

As being the Turkish group leader, we participated the Youth Exchange “Young Europeans and Protection of Human
Rights in European Union” in Bulgaria by “Intercultural Cooperation Initiative" with the participants from Romania,
Bulgaria and Turkey (Studentski Grad, Sofia, Bulgaria, 15 – 22 February 2011)

As being a scout leader i participated the Winter Camp for Scouts of Istanbul (Bingol, 22 – 28 January 2011)

I participated the Volunteering Symposium organised by Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture Agency (TZT,
Istanbul, 3 – 4 November 2010)

As being the group leader we participated the Youth Exchange “the European Institutions and the European
Citizenship After the Treaty of Lisbon – Perspectives and Hopes” by Project Preparation and Implementation
Institute. Bulgaria, Romania, Estonia ve Turkey were the participant countries (Lozen, Sofia, Bulgaria, 15 – 22
October 2010)

Takım Yıldızı IGSK’s action 3.1 training course “Youth Without Borders, Europe Without Borders” was approved. We
collaborated with “Bridge to Europe” youth group. As being a trainer i run the workshops for 27 youth workers from
different 13 countries. (Baku, Azerbaijan, 12 – 18 September 2010)

I participated the Partnership Building Activity (PBA) “Meeting Point” by Lublin Youth Forum (Zakopane, Poland, 9 –
13 August 2010)

As being an activist i participated the 5th World Youth Congress in which 600 foreigners and 400 local young people
participated. I represented Takım Yıldızı Aviation Club. (Istanbul, 1 – 8 August 2010)

I co-ordinated Takım Yıldızı Scouting Summer Camp where 80 scouts participated. I’ve been in management of the
whole events. (Izmit, Kocaeli, 12 – 17 July 2010)

As being the Turkish group leader we participated the youth exchange “EcoTheater” in Slovenia by “Mladinski
Center Dravinjske Doline (MCDD)". With the participants from Slovenia, Greece, Slovakia, Poland, Italy, Romania

and Turkey we prepared a play and performed in public. (Slovenske Konjice, Slovenia, Advanced Planning Visit 28 –
30 May, Youth Exchange 21 – 28 June 2010)

I participated the Pre-Acting Training Course by Turkish National Agency for beneficiaries whose Action 3.1.2
projects were approved. (Ankara, 12 – 14 May 2010)

I participated “3. Youth Gathering” by The Union of NGOs of the Islamic World (UNIW) where more than 150
participants from different 16 countries met. (Jakarta, Indonesia, 15 – 25 January 2010)

I participated the Contact Making Seminar “Find a Partner and Jump in YiA” by Bulgarian National Agency (Lovech,
Bulgaria, 15 – 20 December 2009)

I participated the fisibility visit of European Youth Forum(EYF) on “Youth work in Turkey” (Bilgi University, Istanbul,
19 August 2009)

As being a trainer, i have been in Youth Exchange “Draw the Picture of Peace” by AGUYAD. 30 Young people from
Azerbaijan, Italy, Spain, Ukraine and Turkey (Afyonkarahisar, Advanced Planning Visit 9 – 11 October, Youth
Exchange 8 – 16 November 2009)

I participated Scoutmastering Training Course by Scouting and Guiding Federation of Turkey (Mugla, 24 – 30
September 2009)

As being the Turkish group leader, we participated the Youth Exchange “European Parliament” in Bulgaria by
“Intercultural Cooperation Initiative" with the participants from Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey and Estonia (Lozen,
Sofia, Bulgaria, 20 – 25 August 2009)

I co-ordinated Takım Yıldızı Scouting Summer Camp where 80 scouts participated. I’ve been in management of the

As being the Turkish group leader, we participated the seminar “Ways to Enhance the Visibility of Youth Projects” in
Bulgaria by “Initiative for Youth Solidarity ". With the participants from Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey and Estonia we
did work on visibility (Lozen, Sofia, Bulgaria, 5-11 July 2009)

I participated search and rescue training course by Istanbul Civil Defence Search and Rescue Unite (Istanbul, 22 –
26 June 2009)

I organised and coordinated a youth camp for pupils from Takım Yıldızı Scouting, Youth and Sports Club. 83 pupils
and 21 stuff took part (Gediz, Kutahya, 5 – 11 June 2009)

As being a trainer, i worked in Training Course “Two Sides of the Street” by GAF (Global Art Foundation). 20
participants from different 10 countries involved in training course where creative drama technics were presented
as a tool in youth work (Beyoglu, Istanbul, 21 – 26 May 2009)

As being a trainer, i have been in Youth Exchange “Mud Bath” by AGUYAD. 30 Young people from Azerbaijan,
Slovenia, Belarus, Romania and Turkey (Afyonkarahisar, Advanced Planning Visit 12 – 21 October, Youth Exchange 3
– 10 November 2008)

As being a trainer, i have been in Youth Exchange “Hand in Hand” by Avrasya Youth and Culture Association in Mus.

I organised and coordinated a youth camp for students from Takım Yıldızı Scouting, Youth and Sports Club. (Gediz,

Participated in Training Course “Get involved in EVS” where the host organisation was Fonix Dance Studio.
(Kecskemét, Hungary, 25 June – 1 July 2008)

As being the Turkish group leader we participated the youth exchange “Find Art in Your Heart” in Poland by
“Fundacji Wiatrak (Windmill Foundation)". With the participants from Belarus, Poland, Moldova, Spain, Malta and
Turkey we made dance, mask making, t-shirt painting workshops with local kids. We exhibited our collage work at
the end of the Exchange in the main square of the city. (Bydgoszcz, Poland, Advanced Planning Visit 20 – 22 June,

I worked as a trainer in a multilateral youth exchange named “Europe in Kumluca” in which Estonian, Slovenian,
Romanian and Turkish youngsters took part, coordinated by Kumluca Esnaf ve Spor Klubu Dernegi (Kumluca Bartin, 30 October – 5 November 2007)

I led a troop consisting of 72 scouts in JOTA-JOTI (Jamboree On The Air – Jamboree On The Internet) which is
arranged every October as a meeting of world scouts by using walkie-talkies (Umraniye - Istanbul, 19 – 21 October
2007)

As being the Turkish group leader we participated the youth exchange “Stage for Contemporary Street Arts” in
Bulgaria. We performed music, graffiti, ebru (marbling art) and sema (dervish dance) on the street in Balkan Youth
Festival (Sandanski, 7 – 17 September 2007)

As being the Turkish group leader we participated the youth exchange “Court of Comedians” in Romania. We
performed dance and theatre in Sighisoara Medieval Fest and Sibiu-2007 European Capital of Culture activities
(Rasnov, Sighisoara, Sibiu, Bucharest 20 July – 8 August 2007)

I attended to Council of Europe (COE)’s Intercultural Interlanguage Course – Russian in People’s Friendship
University (RUDN, Moscow, 24 June – 21 July 2007)

I participated the international seminar “The Calends” targetting youth workers (Kirsehir, 28 May – 1 June 2007)

In Poland, I took the training course “Peace Education” by GAJA Foundation for youth workers. We practiced drama
as a tool in youth work (Łódź, 8 – 14 May 2007)

I led our scouts in TIF’s Commemorative 57th Troop March which is a trekking & camping organised every year as a
memorial of 1st world war’s fallen. In 2007, 3000 scouts from different cities participated the event (Gallipoli Canakkale, 23 – 27 April 2007)

I took part in arranging COJEP International’s “the Congress of Youth in East Europe” and i run the “Enlargement of
EU and Turkey” workshop (Nevsehir, 18 – 22 April 2007)

Our action1.1 youth exchange “Keep Smiling” which we developed together with a group of friends from Istanbul
Aydin University was approved and founded. 27 youngsters from different 5 countries came to Giresun and involved
in some social and cultural activities with local people. I worked as a trainer in the event (Giresun, Advanced
Planning Visit 25 – 27 January, Youth Exchange 5 – 11 February 2007)

I took Leadership Training Course (LTK) of Scouting and Guiding Federation of Turkey (TIF) (Kartal - Istanbul, 15 –

In Poland, I participated the training course “inMEDIAtely” focused on using media as a tool in youth work by IcYA

Participated in the International Evaluation Meeting of youthNET CIS on the evaluation of the youth projects we had
carried out in East European countries, holded jointly by ‘Interkulturelles Zentrum’ and the New EURASIA
Foundation and also in Russian Youth Forum that youth organizations and groups from different regions of Russian
Federation were involved (Korolev, Moscow 24-30 Oct., 2006)

Within the scope of GSM-Youth Services Center’s ‘Youth NGOs and Public Coordination Project’, joined to the study
visits to some of the public bodies such as Dept. of Intramural Physical Training, Sports and Scouting, Ministry of
National Education; Dept. of EU Coordination, Ministry of Labour and Social Security and some NGOS as Young
Leaders Association, Turkey Youth Union Association and GENCEV- Youth Culture House (Ankara, Turkey, 25-27

Run (and also legally in charge of) an international traning course, “vol’n’action” on volunteer resources
management aiming to improve both knowledge and skills of the assistants working with/facilitating the volunteers
with the participation of representatives of the NGOs from Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Poland and Turkey (Akcay,
Balikesir, Turkey, September 16-23 Sep., 2006).


Been approved for the Action 1-youth exchange programme named “Come Along With Me” which was applied
jointly by me and the group, “Harmony Bridge” in Nov. 1st, 2005. Within the scope of the project in which I
attended as a trainer, a 25 youngster group from 5 different countries had come to Siirt, and participated in both
social and cultural activities with locals for 6 days (Advanced Planning Visit, Siirt, Turkey, 16-18 May and Youth
Exchange, 27 May – 2 June 2006)

Participated in the Pre-Acting training for the promoters of which projects within the scope of Action 5 have been

Cultural Youth Association in Poland and also conducted some workshops on the subject ‘learning different cultures’
with a group of young students of age 11-13 in the 23.rd Primary School in Łódź (Łódź, Poland, 24 – 29 April 2006)
