The students in 1D are working really hard this term!
We are learning all about addition and how to use our
counting on.. strategy.
In Grade 1 we have been learning
about what it means to be a good
writer. At assembly Amelia Chang,
Danella Roael and Neven Kakeesaa
explained that a good writer writes
on the lines, always uses capital letters and full stops and uses finger
spaces. Most importantly a good
writer ALWAYS HAS A GO!

reason.
Compound sentences have
two reasons.
We use a “FANBOYS” word
to make a compound
sentence.
FANBOYS stands for;
F - stands for “FOR”
A - stands for “AND”
N - stands for “NOR”
B - stands for “BUT”
O - stands for “OR”
Y - stands for “YET”
S - stands for “SO”
Casual on call positions are currently
available in various locations for School
Crossing Supervisors.
You must have the following:
* Be available Monday to Friday from
8-9am and 3-4pm
* Have/be willing to obtain a Working with
Children’s check
* Have a Victorian Drivers Licence and
own reliable car.
