According to Petroleum Market Information System Directive, third paragraph of Article 7, companies who needs to correct
their previous statements, may do this in surveillance of an authorized personnel. Because of the corrections on past data,
there may be mismatch between previous and following reports. These mismatches are being tracked and reduced to
minimum by the Authority.
SUMMARY
EXPORTS
• Gasoline exports increased 46,6 % with respect to the previous month to 238.503 tons.
• While the aviation fuels exports of the refinery, distributor and bunker delivery license owners
increased by 40 % to 343.197 tons2, marine fuel exports decreased by 48,1 % to 142.237 tons.
• In the first eight months, Gasoline exports increased by 1,5% to 1.685.921 tons with respect to
the same period of previous year.
• Aviation fuel exports increased by 24,3% to 1.591.526 tons in the first eight months with respect
to the same period of 2011. Meanwhile marine fuel exports increased by 37,3% to 1.570.395
tons in the same period.
DOMESTIC SALES3
• Domestic gasoline sales decreased by 2,4 % to 185.235 tons and diesel sales decreased by
8,7 % to 1.392.415 tons.
• Domestic gasoline sales of the first eight months decreased by 6,2% to 1.241.070 tons while
the Diesel sales increased by 7,1% to 10.248.991 tons in comparison to the year 2011.
PRICE MOVEMENTS
• Average gasoline retailer sales price increased by 4,7 % with respect to the previous month to
4,47 TL/l.
• Average diesel retailer sales price increased by 2,9 % with respect to the previous month to 3,85
TL/l.

PETROLEUM MARKET
IMPORTS
• Crude oil imports increased by 44,1 % with respect to the previous month, accounting a
total of 2.095.312 tons.
• Diesel imports, decreased by 9 % with respect to the previous month, accounting a total of
803.086 tons.1
• In the first eight months of 2012, Crude oil imports increased by 4,3% to 12.737.250 tons
with respect to the same period of 2011.
• In the first eight months of 2012, Diesel imports increased by 5,8% to 5.851.679 tons with
respect to the same period of 2011
SECTOR REPORT
PRODUCTION
• While the total gasoline and diesel production of the refinery license owners increased
by 5,3 % with respect to the previous month to 1.163.065 tons, total production of the
petroleum products increased by 11 % to 2.133.352 tons.
• In the first eight months of this year, Refinery license owners’ production level increased by
2,1% to 14.364.230 tons with respect to the same period of the previous year.
