Manner of Application of Techjack Insulation Jackets Serial number is given and sizes measured are sent to production. If a leak is detected in the vane and armature before montage starts, it shouldn’t be mounted before the leak is eliminated. Techjack insulation jacket is placed so as to wrap around the vane. It is taped with adhesive touch and close fastener and then the binding threads on both sides of the jacket are fastened. Vane and armature should be completely covered and they should be pressured so as to they pass pipe flanges at least 100 mm in both sides. Thus, it will be ensured that air passage that may stem from sides is cut and temperature loss in heating lines and condensation in cooling lines are prevented. 2 www.techjack.com.tr www.techjack.com.tr 3 37 41 110 138 158 197 248 290 373 455 538 714 889 1058 DN 25 DN 32 DN 40 DN 50 DN 65 DN 80 DN 100 DN 125 DN 150 DN 200 DN 250 DN 300 *Avarege surface temperature tolerance ±10°C. 113 98 81 65 57 49 32 28 26 23 20 70 88 18 QInsulated DN 15 W/mk QUninsulated DN 20 Vane Diameter THE HEAT LOSS CALCULATED FOR 1 M PIPE 89,3 89,0 88,6 88,0 87,5 86,8 85,9 85,1 83,8 82,3 81,3 79,3 76,9 73,9 The energy saving rate gained with insulation 11886 9989 8017 6043 5116 4186 3258 2788 2209 1770 1553 1235 986 781 kW/year 24 26 30 34 36 41 48 53 64 74 84 106 127 147 204 228 256 290 313 357 415 461 550 639 727 912 1096 1273 1377 1157 928 700 592 485 377 323 256 205 180 143 114 1.121,73 942,72 756,56 570,25 482,82 395,04 307,44 263,10 208,49 167,04 146,59 116,53 93,04 73,67 kW/year 90 m³ Natural gas m³ Natural gas 120,15 103,48 86,07 68,57 60,31 51,95 43,49 39,16 33,73 29,50 27,37 24,15 21,53 19,26 Loss Average Value INSULATED TL hour/year kW m UNINSULATED Loss 0,814900 7488 1m³ natural gas price (TL): 8,635 Annual working hours of the company : 2 1m³ of energy obtained from natural gas = 8250 x 1,163 x 0,9 : Equivalent pipe length according to Vane and Armature Type (including flange) : 1.001,58 839,24 670,49 501,68 422,51 343,09 263,95 223,94 174,76 137,54 119,22 92,39 71,51 54,42 Saving Year 3,0 2,9 2,8 3,4 3,2 3,6 4,2 4,8 5,6 5,6 5,8 5,4 6,2 6,8 Depriciation Month 160 160 160 160 160 160 160 160 160 160 160 160 160 160 Before (°C) 36 36 35 35 34 34 34 34 33 33 32 32 32 31 After (°C) Surface Temperature Techjack Vane and Armature Insulation Jackets Feasibility Calculation Plastic Injection and Extruder Insulation Jackets They are designed for Techjack insulation jackets and plastic injection machines and extruders by measuring their sizes in their places and they are manufactured from high temperature-resistant materials. Techjack insulation jackets wrap around the oven without leaving any space around and in the width of oven owing to their modular design. Due to the fact that they are modular, their assembly and disassembly is very simple. With Techjack insulation jacket applied over resistors in the oven area of Extruders and Plastic injection machines. When average temperature of oven is 200-250 ºC , it doesn’t pose any danger for the personnel. It is observed that the personnel is kept safe from risk as a result of sleeve temperature decreasing to 30-50 ºC after Techjack application. Decrease in the performance of the personnel is observed due to average heat emitting sleeve temperature when air temperature increases. This situation will be eliminated after Tachjach application. Techjack Nozzle Cover / Disc Techjack insulation jackets minimize heat loss and make sure that oven temperatures come into play less frequently and thus their operating time extends. Thanks to Techjack nozzle cover / disc, it got easier to prevent the plastic that recoils, which is a common problem occurring in machines, from wrapping around connection wires, thermocouples and resistor. Bore diameter of Techjack disc can be easily adjusted according to nozzle diameter of oven. Its assembly and disassembly is fast and simple.
