None Objectives of the Course The main objective of this course is to provide students understand the basic economic concepts, theories and markets and analyze economic events by using the methods and economic data. Depending on this, the important aim of this course is to be able to implement the economic information and use all of them in daily experience Learning Outcomes - To be able to define the basic economics concepts - To be able to explain the economic agents behaviour and choice - To be able to define problems, systems, decision mechanisms and politics for economics (macro economics) - To be able to follow national and international economic data and events - To be able to develope policy recommendation for economic problems - To be able to work interdisciplinary team - To be able to create employment opportunities - To be able to implement the economic information and use all of them in daily experience Course Contents Weekly Detailed Course Contents (yarıyıllık dersler için arasınav ve final sınavları dahil edilerek 16 haftalık, yıllık dersler için arasınav ve final sınavları dahil edilerek 30 haftalık) Recommended or Required Reading Rewiev of basic economic concepts, demand, supply, equilibrium (market) price, consumption and production theory, national income, inflation, unemployment, money, foreign trade, privatization, informal economy, budget deficit, economic crises, applied general economics and discussion on general economics.
