None Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to teach the basic concepts of behavioral finance as an alternative to efficient market hypothesis. Learning Outcomes LO1. To be able to understand efficient market hypothesis, LO2. To be able to understand the relationship between finance and psychology, LO3. To be able to understand the basic concepts and issues in behavioral sciences, LO4. To be able to explain how individuals’ characteristics effect their investment decisions, LO5. To be able to estimate investors’ behaviors in financial markets. Course Contents Efficient Market Hypothesis, Basic Concepts of Behavioral Finance, Psychological Processes that Effect Financial Decisions, Price Anomaly, Overconfidence Behavior.
